These genetic tests leverage Polygenic Risk Scores (PRS) to provide a more precise understanding of a patient’s absolute genetic risk of complex disease, allowing for the creation of early, personalized intervention strategies in clinical practice. She will review advanced phenotyping and how to utilize PRS along with Dried Blood Spot testing to implement precision cardiology.

Dr. Druz is an integrative cardiologist, a physician executive, and a digital health entrepreneur. She is the CEO and founder of the Holistic Heart Centers, a precision cardiology practice and management services organization. Dr. Druz is the creator of Fit in Your GENES®, a proprietary program based on functional medicine principles for patients seeking to optimize their cardiovascular health, wellness, and vitality. Dr. Druz completed her MD at the Cornell University Medical College in 1995, and her internship and fellowship training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2001. She is board-certified in cardiology and cardiac imaging, including nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and echocardiography. She is a national expert in cardiology and holds a variety of leadership positions. Dr. Druz is a certified functional medicine physician. In 2021, she completed her executive MBA and Master of Health Policy and Research dual degree at the SC Johnson School of Business Management, Cornell University, and Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
