Overview:
This test is a transplant physician's means of obtaining and monitoring information about immune status. ImmuKnow® measures the adenosine triphosphate (ATP) response of stimulated peripheral blood lymphocytes.

Prior to initial submission of specimens for this test, contact HLA customer service (800-533-1037) to establish special specimen collection and transportation arrangements.These specimen collection and transportation arrangements MUST be observed in order to obtain acceptable results.
Green-top (sodium heparin) tube only.
Do not use lithium heparin, ACD, or EDTA tubes. Assay must be set up within 30 hours of specimen collection. Specimens received after 30 hours are not acceptable for testing.
