Micronutrient Test

Overview:

Spectracell’s Micronutrient Test (MNT) will tell you exactly the micronutrients in which a patient is deficient. It evaluates how 31 different vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants are working within a person’s cells. But it goes even further—The MNT will tell how well cells can withstand oxidative stress, how well cells are metabolizing carbohydrates and how adeptly cells function when launching an immune response.

Armed with this information, you can develop a targeted supplementation regimen based on the results. Your patients’ repletion plan will be unique to their personal biochemistry at this point in their life. Once cellular deficiencies are corrected, symptoms improve and patients often experience systemic benefits.

Requirements

Specimen Type: Whole Blood

Container: 2 ACD Yellow Top Tubes (Sol. A)

Fasting: Not required

Collection

1.     Collect two full ACD yellow top tubes.

2.     Mix by inverting 8 times immediately after drawing.

3.     Do not refrigerate, freeze, or centrifuge specimens.

4.     Label tube with patient name, DOB, and date of collection.

5.     Ship in Micronutrient kit provided.
